after arriving to this great city abyssinia contacted her lovely friends and we met at the Lucky Lounge...im not sure how lucky it was...me with the bf and my close guy friend chileno with his...that left lola falana, rob paz, aland, and pierre. The funny part were the male snippers in full affect. One thing I hate about bars is the way men like to swoop down on innocent (or sometimes not so innocent women) the first second they get. We were all hangin out together- 3girls and 5 guys- and the second chileno left his gf...a hawk went in for the kill. Question #1 was are you here with your bf... were she quickly said YES. Question 2...You guessed it "Are they here with their boyfriends too?" (meaning abyssinia and lola) sure enough she answered YUP! Needlesstosay it didnt stop there. They waited to Lola and myself were standing at the bar alone before they went in for the kill. Why!? Why cant people just go and have fun w/o the Hawking!?!?
